Effective October 14, 2026Chrome extension by Klajdi Hena
The short version
Everything the extension saves stays in your own browser.
The developer runs no servers and receives none of your data.
Post text leaves your browser only if you turn on the AI filter or add a webhook, and only to the service you choose.
No analytics, no tracking, no ads, and your data is never sold.
What the extension does
Group Lead Watcher checks the Facebook groups you list for new posts that match your keywords. It can optionally ask an AI model whether a post is a real sales lead, then notifies you of the posts that match.
Information the extension handles
Your settings: the group URLs, keywords, negative keywords, scan interval, AI filter options and webhook URL you enter.
Your AI API key, if you enable the AI filter. It is your own key for Anthropic, OpenAI or a compatible service.
Content from the groups you choose: for each post in those groups, the post text, the author's display name and profile link, the post link and the group name. The extension reads only what your logged-in Facebook account can already see.
Scan records: IDs of posts already checked, so you are not alerted twice, plus your saved leads (up to 300) and each group's last scan status.
The extension does not read your Facebook messages, friends list, profile, passwords or any page outside the groups you list.
Where it is stored
All of the above is stored locally on your device using Chrome's extension storage (chrome.storage.local). It is not synced to your Google account and is not sent to the developer.
When data leaves your browser
Data leaves your browser only in these cases, and only to services you choose:
Facebook. The extension loads group pages as your browser normally would while you are logged in.
Your AI provider, if you enable the AI filter. Matching posts (text, author name and group name) are sent with your API key to the provider you selected: Anthropic, OpenAI, or the custom endpoint you enter. That provider's own privacy policy applies, for example Anthropic or OpenAI.
Your webhook, if you add one. Each new lead (post text, author name and profile link, post link, group, matched keywords and AI score) is sent to the URL you enter, such as your own CRM or automation tool.
The developer does not receive, collect, sell, rent or share any of this data, and uses no analytics or tracking tools.
